Literally cannot believe that the one person I relied on the most to get me through a really tough time in life has just dropped me. I just want to book a one way ticket to Australia and try and find my grandad’s family and stay with them for a while. Rant. Over.

So fed up at the moment.

I’ve always believed in the notion of things happening for a reason, but even more so recently in life.

It’s even the smallest of things, like, saying hi, smiling, or sitting next to someone in uni that can lead you to making friends with a group of people who constantly make you laugh or are reminded of you when they see something that you’re interested in.

I’ve always been a little shy but starting work in a comic book shop (which is the best job ever) has made my confidence and independence grow so much. But more importantly, I’ve met some amazing people there who all share my love of comic books, and lego, and graphic novels, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Walking Dead…the list could go on forever.

I’ve got so many special people in my life right now, including the best parents and brother a girl could have, and I’m so grateful for all of the awesome things that have come my way and the people I’ve met.

I can honestly say I am so happy with my life at the moment and the lucky position I am in. I hope for everyone who sifted through this are as happy as I am, and whatever comes your way, either good or bad, that things do get better, and all things happen for a reason =)
